CSI instructors and personnel have over 100 years combined canine training experience in SAR work. They have trained and handled numerous dogs for cadaver, USAR, wilderness SAR, Trailing, arson accelerants, article, and narcotics Detection. The combination of education and practical experience that CSI personnel offer is truly unique to this field. We have the theoretical and academic background in the principles of learning, training, and animal behavior, which, coupled with the experience of seasoned handlers, guarantees you will receive the best instruction possible. Our research and technical expertise ensures that all training is conducted thoroughly, in a manner appropriate to the serious nature of SAR. CSI is dedicated to providing the best possible instruction, and has structured its K9 seminar to achieve that end. WHO SHOULD ATTEND ? SEMINAR LOCATION AND DURATION The seminar is being held at Ferncliff Camp, a beautiful facility located in Ferndale, Arkansas and will take place April 16 - 18, 1999. Facilities are bunkhouse-style cabins with multiple showers and sleeping sections. CSI'S COURSE MATERIALS CSI's commitment to excellence in education means that both classroom and field sessions are structured in a manner that optimizes your time. Instructors will provide handouts to accompany and compliment lectures and presentations. The handouts will be comprehensive and can serve as reference materials for your future training exercises. All dogs must be current on all vaccines (proof is required at registration). Dog and/or person aggression will not be tolerated. SEMINAR COST The cost of the seminar is 200.00. This cost includes lodging and meals. In order to maintain a high instructor to student ratio, class size is limited. To ensure seminar attendance, early registration is encouraged and all registrations must be received by April 5th, 1999.
