			Fall Callouts 1995

Sun. Oct. 30   Group of 7 hikers from Porteau Camp lost on Howe Sound Crest
    	       Trail. Located at upper end of Harvey basin. Rescue
	       hampered when group moved and left the trail after being
	       located.

Fri. Nov. 4   Three 8 year-old boys overdue after hiking up the logging
              road to play in the snow. Group quickly located on
              upper logging road by LBSAR member and driven home.

Sat. Nov. 19  Search for missing driver of an RV found floating in
	      Howe Sound in Oct. Search managed by LBSAR, involved 6
	      different SAR teams from the lower mainland, as well as
	      Lions Bay Emergency Social Services.

Sun. Dec. 11  Team placed on stand-by to assist North Shore Rescue in search
 	      for four missing snowboarders. Subjects located by NSR in
	      Australia Gulley and rescued by helicopter.

Fri. Dec.16   Assisting NSR in search for out-of-bounds snowboarder missing
	      overnight at Cypress Bowl. Subject located, in good
	      condition, in Australia Gulley by teams that included
	      LBSAR members.
