The Mountain Medicine Institute in Oakland Ca teaches several excellent
Wilderness Medicine courses. Their classes are great, because they get
experts in each field to teach each section of the course. Courses are joint
sponsored by the Sierra Club and the US Navy. 

They are a nonprofit organization.
